The Alexanders at home in Los Gatos, CA. From the 1933 film "Family Album" by Kingdon Kerr.
Josephine lived with another of Lucien's sisters, Aunt Wiza, and husband Uncle Holly, while attending Goucher College in Baltimore. Wiza had artistic talent and is responsible for several hand-painted family heirlooms, including the gold-rimmed dinner dervice that passed from Josephine to Judy. Look for it on the table in many of the family party photos from the 1950s through the early 2000s.
